Sling Releases SlingPlayer Mobile for the iPad

Sling Media announced the immediate availability of SlingPlayer Mobile for the iPad on Wednesday. The app lets Slingbox owners stream content to their iPad where ever they can get an Internet connection.

SlingPlayer Mobile works with the Slingbox SOLO and Slingbox PRO-HD, and supports changing channels and controlling DVR devices such as TiVo, can access Apple TV content, and more.

SlingPlayer Mobile is priced at US$29.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
