SlothMedia announced the immediate availability of KosmicMath Education Edition for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on Friday. The new version of the preschool through 4th grade math training app is designed for classroom use, including one-to-one student activity and multi-student use.
The Education Edition includes the ability to track students by classroom or teacher’s name to display the appropriate lessons, and each student’s game statistics are synchronized with a database teachers and parents can use to monitor progress. The app uses a space exploration game theme to help students learn math skills and also points to NASA Web sites to show more about the space objects users encounter.
KosmicMath Education Edition is priced at US$14.99 and is available in Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
