Insider Software announced the immediate availability of Smasher 2 on Thursday. Smasher is a font repair and cache cleaning utility for Mac OS X. The new version improves font previews as well as font importing.
Smasher 2 displays font previews in their native outlines, supports user-defined text preview copy as well as custom font sizes, includes a new font validation engine, can save font archives to disk images or Zip files, includes support for Adobe Creative Suite 5 font caches, offers drag-and-drop importing of older suitcases with the ability to identify every font they contain, and more.
Smasher 2 is priced at US$34.95 and is available at the Insider Software Web site.
