SmileOnMyMac Expands into iOS, Becomes Smile

· by · News

SmileOnMyMac, well known for popular Mac applications like TextExpander and PDFpen, is rebranding itself as Smile now that it develops apps for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, too.

“We’ve developed software for the Mac for seven years,” commented Smile co-founder, Greg Scown. “Now that we have TextExpander touch for iPhone and iPad, we’ve outgrown the SmileOnMyMac name.”

Smile will continue to develop and support Mac applications despite its move into the iOS market. The company’s current lineup includes TextExpander and TextExpander touch, PDFpen and PDFpenPro, DiscLabel, and PageSender.
