SmileOnMyMac Releases PDFpen 4.2.1 to Address Snow Leopard Issues

SmileOnMyMac announced Friday the release of PDFpen 4.2.1 and PDFpen Pro 4.2.1, updates to the company's PDF viewing and editing tools that specifically address some issues with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

What's new in PDFpen 4.2.1 and PDFpen Pro 4.2.1:

  • Fixed problems with opening some PDF documents on Snow Leopard
  • Fixed Quartz filters on Snow Leopard
  • Improved click selection behavior on Snow Leopard
  • Fixed problems with filling some IRS forms
  • Combine PDFs and Split PDF scripts no longer require Rosetta
  • Other fixes and improvements

PDFpen allows users to view, edit, and create PDF documents with sophisticated editing tools. PDFpen Pro adds to that the ability for users to create fillable PDF forms and document table of contents.

The updates are free to registered owners of version 4.x of the products. The full version of PDFpen is priced at US$49.95. PDFpen Pro lists for $99.95.
