SneakPeek Photo Adds File Information to QuickLook

· by · Product News

Code Line announced Tuesday the release of SneakPeek Photo, a plugin for Mac OS X's QuickLook feature that adds file information to what is displayed in QuickLook when looking at a photo. That information includes file type, size, f-stop, focal length, color profile (sRGB, ProPhoto, etc), a mini histogram, and more.

According to Code Line, also available are elements which offer Exif data, camera settings, a Loupe View with high resolution zooms, and a large Histogram to see the blueprint of your shot. If the photo is geotagged, you'll not only see the coordinates, but a nifty map of where the picture was taken, and a link to a more detailed map online.

QuickLook is the feature in Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard that offers a preview look at files by simply selecting it in the Finder and hitting the space bar. SneakPeek Photo is a plugin for that feature.

The software is priced at US$10, and there is a 15 day trial available. SneakPeek Photo is compatible with Snow Leopard.
