Snow Leopard Server Diagnostic Tool Supports Xserve, Mac mini

· by ·

Apple released Server Diagnostics 3X106 late on Thursday. The utility is designed to test the Xserve and the new Mac mini with Snow Leopard Server for hardware issues.

The application is compatible with the early 2008 and early 2009 Xserve models, and the early 2009 Mac mini, and requires Mac OS X 10.6 server. It can check for problems with the server's Boot ROM, Ethernet controller, fans, hard drives, memory, power supply, processors, sensors, USB ports, and video controller.

Apple Server Diagnostics 3X106 is available as a free download at the Apple Web site.
