Southwest Airlines Teams with Apple for InAirtainment

· by · News

Southwest Airlines has teamed up with Apple to offer music and video entertainment options for its customers through its new InAirtainment Web site. The site features iTunes Store content, and even offers 20 free songs from Southwest says are “artists about to fly.”

Travelers can access the InAirtainment Web site from any Internet connection, but Southwest Airlines is hoping they’ll want to take advantage of the service via its in-flight Wi-Fi service.

The InAirtainment Web site offers links to popular songs, movies and TV shows, and offers music, video and game suggestions for people that are traveling.

“Our new InAirtainment page allows customers an easy in to iTunes and we offer special deals to customers booking through our site,” said Southwest spokesperson Whitney Eichinger.

Southwest’s InAirtainment service is available now at the airline’s Web site.
