Speck Announces iPod Touch Cases with Burton Patterns

· by · Product News

Speck announced Monday a new line of cases for Apple’s new (4th gen) iPod touch called Fitted x Burton, cases that feature patterns from Burton’s 2011 outerwear collection. In other words, snowboarders can now ensure that that their iPods match their coat.

“So many of the Burton crew use Apple products, so it’s been really cool to work with Speck on an Apple accessory,” Burton Chief Creative Officer Greg Dacyshyn said in a statement.

The cases are fitted (i.e. they snap on), and Speck is billing them as limited edition designs. They are based on Speck’s hard shell case, but are wrapped in fabric with Burton’s patterns, as you can see in the image below. Speck also outfitted them with a raised front bezel to help protect your iPod’s front face.

Each case is priced at US$39.95.
