Springy 1.5 Gets Interface Revamp, More

Dragan Milic announced the immediate availability of Springy 1.5 on Thursday. The update for the Mac OS X file archiving utility now appears in Finder's contextual menu on Tiger and Leopard, sports a redesigned preview column in column view, and includes redesigned alarm panels and sheets.

Version 1.5 also improved handling of files when UTI information may be wrong, added complete support for archived files with extended attributes, added a redesigned preferences panel, improved handling of non-ASCII characters for file names in TAR, PAX and CPIO archives, Improved handling of partially processed files, and more.

Springy 1.5 requires Mac OS X 10.4.4 or higher. It is priced at US$19.95 and is available for download at the springy Archiver Web site.
