Steve Jobs Biography to Ship in October

Following the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, book publisher Simon & Schuster has moved up the release date for his authorized biography from November 21 to October 24.

Mr. Jobs agreed to participate in the biography, making it the only authorized accounting of his life. The book was written by renowned biographer Walter Isaacson and includes information compiled from interviews with Mr. Jobs, as well as his family and friends, co-workers, and other industry leaders.

Mr. Jobs passed away on Wednesday, October 5 at the age of 56. Following the news of his death, colleagues such as Apple CEO Tim Cook shared their thoughts on the man, as did President Barak Obama.

Mr. Isaacson’s biography, simply titled “Steve Jobs,” well be available through book resellers such as Amazon.com as well as Apple’s iBookstore.
