Steve Jobs’s funeral is taking place Friday, October 7th (today), according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. Citing unnamed sources, the newspaper reported that it will be a small, private gathering, and the location of the service has not been leaked.

Mr. Jobs died on Wednesday, October 5th, one day after his company introduced the iPhone 4S and Siri voice controls for iPhone. The outpouring of emotion was instant and near-universal, but as of now there are no scheduled public services scheduled.
Apple has, however, told fans of Mr. Jobs who, “would like to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences” to e-mail them to [email protected].
