· by · News

Apple co-founder and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Steve Wozniak has joined the TechForEducators.com board of advisors, tying together his love for technology and education.

TechForEducators.com sells a wide range of educational software and hardware products to educators, and works with the Kids In Need Foundation to give US$1.25 worth of free school supplies to impoverished students for every $1 worth of products it sells.

"TechForEducators.com represents the best in trying to do good things for our students and teachers," said Woz. "I'm looking forward to the great things they have planned for education."

The company didn't say exactly what Woz's duties would be, but president Matt Spergel did comment that they were honored to "have Steve contributing his infectious optimism and creativity to our company."
