Version 2.3 of Stitcher, an iPhone app for "stitching" together favorite audio content into on-demand "stations," this week added location-based content, allowing users to create custom stations with local shows. Developer Stitcher, Inc. said it looked for shows from the five biggest cities in each state; the feature is not available outside the United States.
Other changes to the app include access to subscription-based premium content and an alarm clock. Stitcher is free and requires iPhone OS 2.2.
