SubRosaSoft Releases TextCrypt 2

SubRosaSoft announced the immediate availability of TextCrypt 2 on Wednesday. TextCrypt is an application for Mac OS X that encrypts text to keep messages and other information safe from prying eyes.

TextCrypt 2 uses the Rijndael AES-128 encryption algorithm to encrypt messages along with Base64 encoding to make copying and pasting messages easier. The app uses user-provided passwords to encrypt and decode messages.

TextCrypt 2 is priced at US$29.95 on CD, or $19.95 as a download from the SubRosaSoft Web site.
