Take Control and TidBITs announced the immediate availability of two new font management titles for Mac OS X 10.5 users on Thursday. Take Control of Fonts in Leopard and Take Control of Font Problems in Leopard were written by font expert Sharon Zardetto, and cover font basics as well as how Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, iLife, iWork and Safari deal with fonts.

Take Control of Fonts in Leopard explains how to work with Unicode fonts, installing fonts, using Apple's Font Book application, where fonts are stored, application specific font organization, and more.

Take Control of Font Problems in Leopard shows how to deal with duplicate fonts, explains font loading order, troubleshooting fonts, dealing with font caches, and more.

Take Control of Fonts in Leopard is priced at US$15 and Take Control of Font Problems in Leopard costs $10, and both can be purchased as a bundle for $20. Both are available for download at the Take Control Web site.
