TechRestore is announcing on Friday overnight 1TB drive replacement service for Apple’s Unibody line of MacBook Pro models. The drive will work 13”, 15” and 17” MacBook Pro Unibody models.
“This new 1 Terabyte drive is incredible,” Shannon Jean, Founder and President of TechRestore, said in a statement. “Mac users can now take it all with them, without having to use external storage to save their music and video collections and other data. We’re thrilled to be installing the new drive into systems today.”
The service is part of the company’s suite of overnight repairs that picks up your laptop, overnights it to TechRestore, where the repair is done and overnighted back to you the next day. The company has arrangements for door-to-door pickup and delivery, or customers can use one of 4,000 drop-off locations around the country. Bay Area customers can drop their machine off directly at TechRestore.
In addition, the company will transfer your data to the new drive, and customers have the option of having their old drive installed into an external enclosure.
Technically, the service has the long name of Overnight 1 Terabyte MacBook & MacBook Pro Unibody Hard Drive Upgrade Service with Data Transfer & Free Return Shipping, and it is priced at $329.
