TechRestore Posts HD Stop-Motion iPad Teardown Video

· by · News

TechRestore has posted an HD stop-motion video of an iPad teardown. The video shows the extensive number of components used in the display assembly, as well as the tight assembly of all the components.

TechRestore has been making these videos for many of Apple’s new devices, especially iPhone OS devices. This one starts with the device in the box, and uses 1,675 HD frames of stop-motion animation.

For those interested in comparing the manufacturing of an Apple device to the competition, check out TechRestore’s Nook stop-motion teardown. Note the more extensive use of plastic and other differences in component quality.
