Ted Landau Discusses Tethering, Google Voice on MacNotables

· by · TMO Appearances

TMO columnist Ted Landau joined Chuck Joiner on the MacNotables podcast to talk about iPhone tethering, Google Voice and Apple's Visual Voicemail, and augmented reality apps.

Ted and Chuck discussed the upcoming iPad launch, and what configuration to order, especially when it comes to connectivity. They looked into the issues surrounding tethering of your Apple devices (and AT&T data plans), why the options are what they are, and what may make sense for you. They also discussed Ted's experiences in comparing Google Voice with the iPhone's Visual Voicemail, and why the latter works better for him, along with the future of augmented reality apps, and some of the effects of a maturing iPhone platform.

MacNotables #1010 is available as free MP3 download at the MacNotables Web site.
