Ted Landau Dives into the iPad on MacNotables

· by · TMO Appearances

TMO columnist Ted Landau joined Chuck Joiner on the MacNotables podcast to talk about Apple's recently introduced iPad and to highlight what you need to know before buying one.

Ted and Chuck discuss what Apple included in the iPad's feature and software set, examine what wasn't included, and talk about some of the things we can expect to see in the near future. They also discusses why it's a good thing the iPad isn't a Mac tablet, why you really don't want videoconferencing on an iPad -- even if you think you do -- and dive into iBooks and the iBookStore.

As if that isn't enough, Ted also shares his recommendations on which iPad model to buy (it may surprise you) and why, if it will replace or supplement your current Apple devices, and learn how you might be able to own a Ted Landau-autographed iPad.

MacNotables #1008 is available as free MP3 download at the MacNotables Web site.
