textSOAP Maintenance Update Released

unmarked software has released an update for textSOAP, bringing it to version 4.0.2. textSOAP is autility designed for Internet text cleaning. The latest release fixes several reported bug issues. According to unmarked software:

unmarked software has released an update to the latest edition of textSOAP 4, its text utility to clean email and long documents.

textSOAP is a utility that makes it easy to clean out the annoying forwarding marks, invisible characters, and formatting that you often find in email and long documents.

The update address several problems reported by customers:

  • Registration problems
  • Updates to the various components of textSOAP are now handled better
  • Several cleaners were fixed, including: SCRUB, mySCRUB, 2 Hyphens to Em Dash and Smarten Quotes
  • Improvements to the BBEdit plug-in were made as well
