TextExpander 2.8 Improves Gmail Support

SmileOnMyMac announced the immediate availability of TextExpander 2.8 on Thursday. The update for the abbreviation auto-expander added improved support for using snippets in Gmail and other Web-based tools.

Version 2.8 added support for using Rich Text snippets in Web applications, placing images in Web apps via snippets, improved the ability to make selections in snippets, fixed several bugs, and more.

TextExpander 2.8 is priced at US$29.95 and is available for download at the SmileOnMyMac Web site. The update is free for registered TextExpander 1.x and 2.x users.
