Smile Software announced the immediate availability of TextExpander 3.2 for the Mac on Tuesday. The update for the typing shortcut utility for Mac OS X added the ability to backup and restore snippet groups from within the application.

TextExpander lets users create custom abbreviations that auto-expand into full words or phrases when typed. Along with words and phrases, the abbreviations, or snippets, can hold scripts that run automatically as well as graphics.
