Mac mini EFI Firmware Update 1.4 also includes Thunderbolt-related patches from previous updates that improve Lion Internet Recovery stability, Thunderbolt Display compatibility, and Thunderbolt Target Disk Mode support.

Mac mini EFI Firmware Update 1.4 requires a mid 2011-model Mac mini with Thunderbolt port, and OS X 10.7 or higher. The update is free and available via the Software Update application, or as a downloadable installer at the Apple Support Web site.
