TiVo unveiled an update for its iPad app on Tuesday that adds support for Video on Demand through cable partners. The features will be available for TiVo Premiere and Premiere XL units offered through cable service providers.
TiVo for iPad
The updated TiVo for iPad app will automatically show cable carrier’s Video on Demand offerings, and auto-detects which service provider is available to show the correct content without needing to change any settings.
The update is expected to be available soon. TiVo for iPad is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
