TiVo Remote App Adds Support for More DVR Models

TiVo released version 1.5 of its self-named remote control app for the iPad on Wednesday with welcome support for older TiVo DVR models, along with a new iPhone and iPod touch interface.

TiVo 1.5 includes support for the TiVo series 3, TiVo HD, and TiVo HD XL models along with Suddenlink and RCN DRVs, added a guest mode for non-TiVo customers that want to check out the app, and fixed connectivity issues and bugs.

The TiVo remote control app is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
