TMO's Dave Hamilton is on the ground in San Francisco and will be at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts when the media event happens later this morning. Apple is expected to unveil a redesigned full-size iPad with an iPad mini-style body, and a Retina Display version of the iPad mini, too. The company could also introduce new MacBook Pro models and announce the launch date for OS X Mavericks.

Apple's online store is already showing the "We'll be back" sign, teasing that new hardware is on the way.
