Apple will be hosting its first quarter earnings conference call at 5PM EST on January 25, and The Mac Observer will be offering live coverage of the event through our MacObserverLive Twitter feed.
Apple is expected to post strong results for the quarter, and to report growing Mac sales. "We believe Macs may be able to deliver upside for the next few quarters into education buying season and with help from an enhanced halo effect from the iPhone," said Barclays Capital analyst Ben Reitzes.
Analysts are also expecting Apple will introduce a new tablet form factor device on January 27 which will play into the company's overall earnings for the year.
