Realmac Clear for OS X

UPDATE: The $6.99 price for Clear's OS X version, listed in the article, is a limited time discount for today only. After Thursday, the price will increase to $9.99 for an undetermined amount of time before eventually reaching its "regular price" of $14.99.

Clear, a to-do manager released on iOS by Realmac Software earlier this year, is now available on OS X.

Unlike more complicated applications such as OmniFocus or Things, Clear takes a very simplistic approach to task management. With relatively few options for customization, a user merely enters tasks into the app and then uses a mouse or trackpad gestures to rearrange items or mark them as completed.

For many users, this simple interface is sufficient to manage daily tasks, and the iOS app has received positive reviews. Clear also supports iCloud syncing of items, ensuring that users can keep their to-dos in sync between multiple Macs and iDevices.

Clear is available now for OS X (US$6.99) and iOS ($1.99) from the Mac App Store and iOS App Store, respectively.

bastion of the highlight

So basically at its normal price, it’s a $15 notepad app with prettier colors and a trendy sounding name.
