Second Gear announced the immediate availability of Today 1.8 on Monday. The update for the quick-view application for iCal events and tasks is now fully Mac OS X 10.6-compatible and improved overall performance.

Version 1.8 also corrected an issue where new calendars wouldn't be read in certain situations, updated the French localization, and fixed several bugs.

Today 1.8 is priced at US$15 and is available for download at the Second Gear Web site. The update is free for registered Today 1.x users.
