Toon Boom Animation Inc. announced Thursday the release of Flip Boom Classic 3, an update for the company's animation tool designed for kids 6 and up. The new version includes several new features, new controls, the ability to export directly to iPod and iPhone, and more.

The update is priced at US$12.99 for registered users of previous version of Flip Boom Classic, and the full version is priced at $39.99. The software is available Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5, and the company told The Mac Observer that it is being internally tested for Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6).
