TrailRunner 2.0 Route-Planning Software Adds Suppord for openStreetMap

Berbie Software announced TrailRunner 2.0 on Tuesday, an update to its route-planning and journaling software for Mac OS X. Version 2.0 adds a routing feature based on openStreetMap, the biggest mapping community worldwide. Also, route exchange with GPSies, one of the biggest international route portals, has been improved.

Focused on users doing any kind of outdoor activities like running, biking, hiking or inline skating, TrailRunner offers automatic route calculation for a given distance and attractiveness, a workout diary, workout histograms and analysis tools for measured data like geographic course, speed, distance, heart-rate, and personal aerobic zone. An integrated exercise plan helps users to improve their base endurance in small and adaptive steps.

TrailRunner 2.0 is available as a free download from the company’s Web site.
