Tweetbot Update Adds Readability Support, Improves Performance

· by · Product News

Tapbot released an update for their iPhone and iPod touch Twitter client, Tweetbot, on Tuesday. The 1.0.2 update added support for the Readability service, and also improved app performance by fixing an issue that caused sluggishness after it had been running for several days.

The update also added support for Posterous, fixed a Lists rendering issue, added user tweet counts to the Profile view, added the ability to double-tap the timeline and mentions to mark all tweets as read, and more. Landscape viewing mode and native Push support, however, aren’t available, although the company says it is working on adding those features in a future update.

Tweetbot 1.0.2 is priced at US$1.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
