Twitter Facelift Adds iPad Style

· by · News

Twitter unveiled a new design for viewing Tweets on its Web site Tuesday evening that sports a style similar to the new Twitter for iPad app. The new design will include multi-pane views along with better integration with services such as Flickr and YouTube.

Twitter’s new look

The Twitter redesign offers quick access to other information related to tweets like geotag data, photos, or other related replies. User mini profiles are viewable without navigating out of your tweet stream to the user’s Twitter page, and mentions, retweets and searches are grouped in tabs above your tweet stream.

Twitter is slowly rolling the new interface design out to users over the next few weeks, so there’s a good chance you’ll have to check out the company’s demo video to see the features in action.
