Undercover 3 Adds Skyhook Tracking

· by · News

Orbicule announced the immediate availability of Undercover 3 on Wednesday. The new version of the computer theft recovery application added the ability to track your Mac's position via Wi-Fi through the Skyhook Wireless service.

Undercover also sends screenshots from stolen Macs to help identify who is using the computer, uses the iSight camera built into Apple's laptops to take pictures of who is using the computer, and can simulate hardware failures in an effort to trick the thief into taking the stolen Mac to an Apple Store where it can be recovered.

Undercover 3 is priced at US$49.
