Verbatim and Lexar on Wednesday introduced three new flash storage options: Verbatim, which is in attendance at this week's Macworld Expo, debuted a new line of Store 'n' Go Micro USB drives while Lexar introduced new JumpDrive USB flash drives and teamed up with Kodak to introduce new high-capacity SDHC Video Memory Cards.
Verbatim said it will ship its new Store 'n' Go Micro USB drives, which are not quite 1.25 inches long and weigh .05 ounces, later this month. They will be available in three colors: orange (2GB, US$19.99), green (4GB, $29.99), and purple (8GB, $49.99). A mini lanyard will be included. Product pages were not available on Verbatim's web site as this article was published.
Lexar's new JumpDrives include TwistTurn and Retrax models whose USB connectors rotate and retract, respectively, for protection when not in use. Both will be available soon in a variety of colors, with storage capacities ranging from 2GB to 32GB. Prices were not available.
