VirusBarrier X6 Adds Built-in Firewall

Intego announced the immediate availability of VirusBarrier X6 for Mac OS X on Wednesday. The new version of the anti-virus and anti-malware application for the Mac added its own built-in firewall utility.

Along with virus and malware protection, Version X6 includes phishing and spyware protection, dynamic code monitoring, 64-bit support for Snow Leopard, protection from network-based threats, and more. VirusBarrier X6 also includes licensing for installation on two Macs.

VirusBarrier X6 is priced starting at US$49.95.
