Well-Known Villains Return in City of Heroes Issue 15: Anniversary

The superhero MMORPG City of Heroes celebrated five years of existence this week with the release of Issue 15: Anniversary, a free expansion pack that features the return of the prominent villain group The 5th Column. New Strike Force and Task Force missions allow both hero and villain characters to interact with this high-level organization.

Other changes in Issue 15 include new visual animations when changing between costumes, more than 20 new character faces, and new costumes. In addition, enhancements have been made to the Architect mission builder tool: new testing tools for trying out missions, easier searching of content, and new options and creating custom stories.

The monthly cost for City of Heroes is US$14.95. In addition to an Intel Core Duo processor, City of Heroes requires Mac OS X version 10.5.5, 1GB RAM, 2.9GB of hard drive space, and ATI X1600, NVIDIA 7300 GT, or Intel X3100 video. Intel GMA950 integrated video chipsets are not supported.
