Windows Live Messenger Comes to the iPhone

Microsoft’s Windows Live Messenger client app for the iPhone arrived at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store on Monday. The app lets users access the Windows Live Messenger social networking service from the iPhone or iPod touch.

The app supports supports chat and can access Windows Live Messenger and Y!Messenger contacts, can view photos from other social networking services, can upload photos and create photo albums, and includes access to Hotmail email accounts, too.

Windows Live Messenger for the iPhone and iPod touch is free and is available at Apple’s App Store.
