Fusion-io is a three year old company that designs systems that let servers access large amounts of data faster and more efficiently. Mr. Wozniak will help refine and improve the company's products.

Mr. Wozniak commented "I have a pretty quiet life, and I like to watch technology evolve. In this case, I like the people and the product, and said I would like some greater involvement."

The company has not announced yet when Mr. Wozniak will start his new job.
