wuomn announced the immediate availability of Layers 1.0 on Monday. Layers is a screen capture application that places individual Desktop elements on their own Photoshop document layers.
Layers creates new document layers for each Desktop window, menu and Desktop icons, the Dock and the menu bar, and lets users select parts of their Desktop and to set the captured image format. It also includes a menu bar icon and user definable hot keys.
Layers 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. It is priced at US$19.95 and is available for download at the wuonm Web site.
