XChange UK announced the immediate availability of PictureXTracker for InDesign CS4 and QuarkXPress 8 on Thursday. The add-on searches disks and folders for graphic files used in your page layout documents.
PictureXTracker can search in specific folders, hunt for image files used in single or multiple documents, ignore file name suffixes, honor or ignore file name case sensitivity, check for the most recently modified version of a file, and can generate reports for missing image files. The add-on automatically loads the selected images in the appropriate document, and updates the document's path links to the image files.
PictureXTracker is priced at US$259 and is available for download at the XChange UK Web site.
