Those looking to spend Christmas money on a new iPod shuffle may have to wait a few days to pick one up. Apple’s diminutive iPod is out of stock at many Apple Retail Stores, and shows a 7-10 business day shipping delay at Apple’s online store, with no word on when supply will improve.

iOS 8 Adoption Nears 70 Percent, Still Trails iOS 7’s Pace

Apple this week updated its App Store Distribution report, revealing that iOS 8 adoption among current Apple devices has continued to grow, reaching 68 percent as of January 5. That’s an 8 percent increase from the last update, but still well behind the pace set by iOS 7 during its first three months in 2013.

Apple’s Share of New Smartphone Sales Grew Worldwide Through November 2014

Apple’s worldwide share of smartphone sales surged in most countries for the three months ending November 2014, compared to a year earlier, according to data released Wednesday from research firm Kantar Worldpanel. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus helped Apple grow its share of smartphone sales in every country measured except for Japan.
