Device shipment numbers for 2014 are out, and Anroid unsurprisingly ruled the roost, accounting for more than 1.1 billion of the 2.3 billion total devices shipped during the year. But Apple controlled the high-end of the market, while Google, Microsoft, and others fought for an increasingly large low-cost segment.

Following Unexplained Removal, iCloud Photos App Working Again

After being removed last week, the online iCloud Photos app is working again, although the app's icon has yet to return to the iCloud.com home screen. Many users report that the app, and their photos, can be viewed by directly navigating to the iCloud Photos URL while logged in to iCloud.com.
