If you don’t know Chris Hadfield, you should. He was the first Canadian astronaut to walk in space, has written a book about it, and while he was up there, also managed to record a song with Canadian pop band Barenaked Ladies, which he helped co-write while training for the mission. Well he also recorded a version of David Bowie’s Space Oddity…IN SPACE. It’s glorious to watch, because outer space, but you gotta get there quick. Apparently the license for the video was for only a year, and runs out today. So if you want to see the best video ever for Space Oddity, and a bit of gratuitous space photography, you gotta get over to YouTube and check it out forthwith.
