iFixit Says Pebble is Unfixable

· by · Cool Stuff Found

The Pebble smartwatch may be a cool way to enhance your iPhone's functionality, but if something breaks don't expect to be able to fix it. iFixit got ahold of one and stripped it down only to find that opening a Pebble pretty much breaks it. That said, it's still really impressive thanks to its long battery life, e-paper display, and clever internal design. iFixit said they expect a Pebble smartwatch will last between six and ten years before the rechargeable battery fails, which we think should be plenty of time for something even cooler to come along.
