New James Bond (And A Couple Other Movies But Mostly Bond)

It's been a banner week in Movies Kelly Likes. First off, the new Star Wars trailer. Soon after, the (inevitable?) George Lucas Special Edition. Today we got the trailer for Terminator: Genisys, which stars Emilia Clarke (Dany Targaryen) as Sarah Connor and looks awesome, but that's not even the big news of the day. Today's big news is BOND24 which now has a title and a cast. It's called SPECTRE and comes out November 6. For those new to the Bond series, SPECTRE is all caps because it's an acronym for SPecial Executive Counterintelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. It is run by a fellow named Blofeld, whom you may remember as the cat-petting inspiration for Dr Evil. Well you will probably forget that now because Christoph Waltz has joined the cast, and it's likely he'll be playing Blofeld (I don't know for sure, but who else could he be?). There is, of course, a new Aston Martin for Bond to drive. Drive/demolish, potayto/potahto. Did I mention the cast also includes Dave Bautista (Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy) and Andrew Scott (Moriarty from the current iteration of Sherlock)? Oh yes. Drax and Moriarty are in a Bond movie. Seven months of shooting starts Monday, includes a number of far-flung locales, and we have to wait until November 6, 2015 in order to see it. I'm so excited I will forgive them for not releasing it on my actual birthday like they have in the past. At least it is earlier, so yay early birthday present! If you can't wait to hear more, you can see the car and the cast in the announcement video below.
