Steve Wozniak on Designing Apple I and Apple II, Downplays Apple's Garage Startup

Bloomberg interviewed Steve "Woz" Wozniak about the early early days of Apple Inc., or Apple Computer, Inc. as it was known back in the day. It's a fantastic interview (embedded below), and interesting things include Woz talking about his own pursuit of artistic perfection in the Apple I circuit boards. He said that he threw his own designs out the window and red one circuit board when he realized how he could reduce the number of drilled holes needed from eight down to five. He also downplayed Apple's garage startup myth. While Apple did spend a few weeks doing some work in Steve Jobs's parent's garage, saying, "there were hardly ever more than two people in the garage, and mostly they were just sitting around doing nothing productive." He also talked about Steve Jobs in the early days. It's the most interesting interview with Mr. Wozniak that I've seen in years.
