Turn Your iPhone, iPad into an OCR Scanner with PDFpen Scan+

| Cool Stuff Found

Owning an iPhone is like having an office in your pocket, and if you have really big pockets that goes for the iPad, too. Smile is rounding out your portable office by giving you true OCR capabilities with its new PDFpen Scan+. The app lets you scan documents with your iPhone or iPad's built-in camera, crop and size your scans, and perform optical character recognition. The scanned text can be emailed or saved as a PDF, and it's compatible with Dropbox, Evernote, and Google Drive so there are plenty of options for getting your documents where you need them. PDFpen Scan+ is priced at US$4.99 and is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.

This looks verrry interesting. Didn’t see any reviews at the app store.  Has anyone used this iPhone software yet? With an iPhone 4?
