Lawsuit Targets Apple Over Exploding iPod

If Ms. King's iPod was defective, Apple needs to pony up and make things right -- as well as make sure whatever went wrong to cause the iPod to fail catastrophically doesn't happen again. If, however, she did something that caused the iPod failure, it's time to put on her big girl pants and take responsibility instead of dipping into Apple's deep pockets.
iOS Kindle Update Deletes Stored Books
Amazon is warning its iPhone, iPad and iPod touch Kindle app users to skip the version 3.6.1 update because it deletes purchases from the app. Users that already installed the update can re-download their missing ebooks, and the company said a new update is on the way.

This is a pretty big bug to miss when releasing an update, and it's made worse for users that already installed Kindle 3.6.1 because Apple doesn't offer any way for developers to fall back to older app versions when they discover big problems.
